The fish farm is located in a very poor area in the east of Thailand. Many projects in the area were initially supported by the king.

In 2018, a breeding station for juvenile fish was put into operation. As a result, a higher value added can be achieved.

The fish farm covers an area of about 4 hectares. The 7 ponds are each 80x22 meters in size. A cooperative manages the plant.

The annual harvest is about one million fish of the species Annabas and Pomfret Fish.

The team is looking forward to the self-bred young fish.

Heavy rainfall in August 2019 resulted in major damage and the loss of thousands of fish. A bitter setback for the fish farm.
